Our Team

Bilby's staff numbers over 20, spread across the globe, with our main offices based in New York and Hong Kong. We are a team of expert technologists, traders, and academics. Our staff are also accomplished: we have Olympic silver medalists, world-ranked athletes, two national team coaches, a former circus performer, a TV game show champion, a trained chef, and a globally recognized beer judge. We speak more than a dozen languages.

Like most places, we seek people with high IQs and high EQs. But we add one more criterion: a high hacker quotient. This is the ability to use whatever tools or methods to make stuff fast. Think MacGyver, but for AI.

Working hard is good, but working with flow is even better. We try and be as ambitious as possible, sprint, and then rest rather than always being at work and merely staying busy.

We don't give away cheap points. Being polite, showing up on time, following up, making things accessible to everyone, and not hoarding resources are all non-negotiable. Doing the easy things right consistently makes it easier to tackle the hard things.

We don't do cults.

We welcome feedback on how we can improve. This is a polite way to say that Bilby tends not to suit shrinking violets. We are a team of individuals trying to solve a generational problem — we get lots of stuff wrong, and like it when you point that out.
